Mama’s Baby Cupcakes recently reviewed the Exergen SmartGlow TemporalScanner Thermometer. Almost immediately after she got the thermometer, her child got sick, so it was time for the TemporalScanner to do its job.

She says she was skeptical at first, because she had used other temporal thermometers that didn’t seem to give an accurate reading and/or were difficult to use. However, since the Exergen thermometer got an abundance of good reviews and won several awards, she says she had to give it a shot. She was thrilled that it only took a couple of seconds to get an accurate temperature reading. She also explained that it’s nice to not have to rub it across her child’s forehead for several seconds irritating the child. The blogger even went on to try it out on her two other (healthy) children to test the accuracy of the readings and she came to the conclusion that it was in fact very accurate. She closes the review by saying, “I look forward to using it from now on instead of the more conventional temp ways like under the arm or in the mouth.”
