Supporting Nurse Practitioners: Exergen SVP Speaks at Nursing Entrepreneurship Conference

| July 26, 2017

During the Nurse Innovation & Entrepreneurship Conference, Dr. Marybeth Pompei, D.P.S., Senior Vice President and Chief Clinical Scientist of Exergen spoke with her team about the Nurse Practitioners’ role in the business side of medicine. The conference took place on July 13th and 14th at Northeastern University. Over 100 nurse practitioners were in attendance, learning how to grow their practices through entrepreneurship.

Dr. Pompei reiterated the core ideas of the conference that Nurse Practitioners are leaders in a business aspect, as well as nursing. She conveyed to the audience that Nurse Practitioners are vital because they often spend more time with patients than any other healthcare professionals. This is another example of how Exergen supports professionals within the nursing community, and strengthens their relationship with Northeastern University.

For the second consecutive year, Exergen is proud to support Northeastern University Bouvé School of Nursing as a Mission Sponsor of the Nurse Innovation and Entrepreneurship program. To read more from Dr. Pompei and Exergen’s story on innovation, visit www.northeastern.edu.
